Russian troops captured Ukrainian soldiers during the storming of Maksimilyanovka
DONETSK, October 17, FederalPress. Russian military reported that during the attack on Ukrainian positions in Maksimilyanovka in the DPR, Ukrainian troops attempted to retreat. This was reported by attack aircraft of the 150th Guards Motorized Rifle Division, which is part of the "Southern" group.
The Russian Defense Ministry confirmed that Russian troops had taken control of the settlement. According to the commander of the assault group with the call sign Palata, the enemy's resistance was minimal and from the beginning of the battle, Ukrainian troops tried to leave their positions.
The strike team reported that the main resistance came from FPV drones and that the firefight lasted less than 10 minutes. Ukrainian troops retreated to the end of the forest area cleared by Russian troops.
The judge also noted that several prisoners were arrested during the attack. He said two of them admitted that they had no intention of fighting and had been conscripted against their will.
Earlier, there was another report about a case related to the execution of Russian prisoners, in which charges were brought against the company commander of the 59th motorized rifle brigade of the Ukrainian Armed Forces and his assistant.
