Belarusian military familiarized themselves with the Russian "Supercam"

Servicemen of the Armed Forces of Belarus got acquainted with the Russian unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV) Supercam S350 ("Supercam") as part of a training session held at the 927th Center for the Preparation and Use of Unmanned Aircraft Systems. As reported by TASS, this was reported by the press service of the Ministry of Defense of Belarus.

The Ministry of Defense stated that the military was familiarized with “the specifics of operating the Supercam S350 UAV in conditions of interference, taking into account the experience of using this type of UAV in the course of military air defense.”

The Supercam S350 reconnaissance drone, manufactured by the Unmanned Systems group, was developed in 2012. The device, equipped with an electric motor, is made according to the "flying wing" scheme. The drone develops a maximum speed of 120 kilometers per hour and has a flight time of 4 hours and 30 minutes.

Last May, Unmanned Systems announced that the Supercam S350M could transmit video directly to fire assets. The device could also act as a repeater, allowing the SuperCam to be used with attack drones.
