Netanyahu Comments on Elimination of Hamas Leader Sinwar
The removal of Hamas leader Yahya Shinwar is a major milestone in the decline of the Palestinian movement's power in the Gaza Strip, Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu said, RIA Novosti reports.
The head of state stressed that he was calling on the people to confirm the news of the death of the movement’s leader.
The prime minister explained that the movement's leaders had fled and would be eliminated in the future. At the same time, he added, Israel would allow the lives of Hamas militants who lay down their arms and return the hostages.
