Heavy fog is forecast in Moscow until 10:00 on October 18
In Moscow, from 00:00 to 10:00 on October 18, thick fog is expected in some places, visibility will deteriorate to 200-700 m, the portal of the mayor and the capital's government reports.
Weather conditions may make it difficult for vehicles to move and cause traffic jams.
"Drivers should be especially careful. It is recommended to strictly follow traffic rules, use public transport if possible and plan your route in advance," the statement said.
Earlier, a yellow level of danger was declared in Moscow and the Moscow region due to fog. Accordingly, forecaster Yevgeny Tishkovets noted that frosts are expected in the capital on the night of Friday, October 18. At the same time, dry weather without precipitation will remain in Moscow until at least Tuesday, October 22.
