In St. Petersburg, a nanny gave a six-month-old child Nurofen, after which he died

A child died in St. Petersburg due to the actions of a nanny. This became known to 78.ru.

On Tuesday, the parents left their six-month-old son in the care of a 24-year-old nanny, a citizen of Uzbekistan, in an apartment on Lensoveta Street. According to the girl, after the child's teeth came in, he began to be capricious and his body temperature rose, so she gave him Nurofen.

Around 5 p.m., the child began having convulsions and stopped breathing. The nanny called an ambulance. Doctors arrived about 20 minutes later and tried to resuscitate the child. The boy's mother also came running. The child was taken to the hospital in a clinically dead condition, but they were unable to save him.

The body was sent to the morgue to determine the cause of death. The nanny was taken to the police station, where an administrative protocol was drawn up against her. The girl was placed in quarantine. The issue of initiating a criminal case is being decided.
