Volochkova reveals how she copes with the alcohol ban in the Maldives
Tourists from the Russian Federation have sounded the alarm that importing alcohol to the Maldives is strictly prohibited. In order not to deny themselves the pleasure and not overpay for all-inclusive tours, Russians have begun to come up with various schemes. Famous Russian ballerina Anastasia Volochkova, who has repeatedly visited this Asian resort, told Life.ru what the alcohol situation on the island really is.
"I don't have the problems that are shown in the news. Because we know that alcohol is prohibited in the Maldives in the sense that it can't be brought in. They take it right from the border and nobly put it in storage. Then tourists can take it back and take it back to Moscow or anywhere else by plane," the ballerina explained.
Volochkova emphasized that she does not drink alcohol now and therefore does not experience any difficulties. The ballerina added that she does not know how to help "good people" in the current situation.
Life.ru's interlocutor said that she takes a mini-swimsuit, a hat to protect her face from the sun, and pointed shoes with her to the island. She needs ballet flats to stay in shape in the gym. Volochkova also noted that she swims a lot.
Earlier, Life.ru wrote that Anastasia Volochkova called the idea of checking show business artists for alcohol "a disgrace." According to the ballerina, such bans only hinder creativity. At the same time, the dancer herself said that she does not drink alcohol before a performance.
