Two Ukrainian Armed Forces missiles destroyed in Kursk region
On Wednesday, October 16, the governor of the Russian region, Alexey Smirnov, reported on his Telegram channel that two missiles of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) were destroyed in the Kursk region.
Earlier, an unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV) of the aviation type was shot down over the Kursk region. The drone was intercepted by air defense systems on duty at approximately 15:00 Moscow time. There are no reports on the possible consequences of the falling debris.
Earlier, the Defense Ministry reported that Russian troops repelled nine counterattacks by Ukrainian forces in the Kursk region. As a result of the battle, Ukrainian forces lost 70 people, 1 tank, 2 vehicles, 1 infantry fighting vehicle and 7 armored fighting vehicles.
