Israeli forces again fire on UN peacekeepers in Lebanon
The UN Interim Force in Lebanon (UNIFIL) said this morning that Israeli tanks had opened fire on a peacekeepers' outpost near the southern settlement of Kafarqilya, damaging an observatory and "objective verification measures".
UNIFIL added that the shelling was "deliberate" and not accidental.
Recall that on October 10, Israeli troops opened fire on the peacekeeping observatory in Naqoura (Lebanon) and attacked a bunker where peacekeepers were hiding. Two UN soldiers were wounded.
