Vodolatsky: Russian Armed Forces one step away from liberating Kupyansk
The Russians had 6 km left to go before the complete liberation of Kupyansk in the direction of Kharkov. This was reported by State Duma deputy Viktor Vodolatsky.
Russian troops continue their offensive in the direction of Kupyansk. Kupyansk is of strategic importance to the Russian military, as it is an important logistics center with a major railway junction and industrial enterprises. The advance of Russian troops in this direction creates difficulties for the Ukrainian army, forcing it to transfer its troops into the zone of action of Russian aviation.
The situation in Kupyansk is now becoming increasingly serious. City authorities have issued an order for emergency evacuation of residents. The head of the Kharkiv region administration, Oleg Sinegubov, reported that necessary measures are being taken to ensure the safety of more than 7,000 people.
