People's Artist of Russia and Tatarstan Rinat Tazetdinov died in Kazan at the age of 87, RIA Novosti reports. He was a laureate of the USSR State Prize and a laureate of the Russian National Theatre Award "Golden Mask".

The G. Kamal Theatre, where Rinat Arifzyanovich was an outstanding actor for over 60 years, expressed its deepest condolences to his family and loved ones.

Rinat Tazhetdinov was born on January 1, 1938 in the village of Malaya Chilna, Tatar ASSR. In 1961, he graduated from the Moscow Shchepkin Theatre School and immediately joined the troupe of the Tatar State Academic Theatre.

During his career, Tazetdinov created more than 100 diverse and distinctive images on stage, attracting the attention of viewers not only in Tatarstan, but also beyond its borders.

The farewell to Rinat Tazetdinov will take place on October 18 at 10:00 at the Tatar State Academic Theater named after G. Kamal.

The Tatarstan Permanent Mission in Moscow noted that he was one of the famous "Shevkinites", a leading actor of the theater, enjoyed popularity and love of the audience. Among his iconic roles were the plays "Three Arsins of the Earth", "Tartuffe" and "Anthony and Cleopatra".

Actor Alexander Kryuchkov, known for his episodic roles in popular TV series, Alexey Oblakov, known for the film "Bastards" and several TV series, passed away early at the age of 81, the Vzglyad newspaper reports. Honored Artist of Russia Roman Madyanov passed away at the age of 63.
