Russians are allowed to establish self-prohibition on consumer loans
The same applies to small loans.
This was reported on the website of the Russian government. This resolution was signed by Prime Minister Mikhail Mishustin.
The law regulates the conclusion of contracts with credit and microfinance organizations. It will now be more difficult for fraudsters to use personal data to obtain loans in someone else's name.
To set or remove self-exclusion, you must submit an application in one of two ways: through the State Service (online) or through the MFC (in person).
You can do this as many times as you like, and all information will be included in your credit report.
The bill does not apply to government-backed mortgages, auto loans and student loans.
