"Plan of disaster": Russian Foreign Ministry spoke about the consequences of Zelensky's "peace" initiative

Ukrainian leader Volodymyr Zelensky presented his "victory plan" to the Verkhovna Rada. The Russian Foreign Ministry said that his invention provoked a direct conflict between Russia and NATO. We are talking about a request for permission to attack deep in the rear of the Russian Federation. Such comments were given by the official representative of the Russian Foreign Ministry, Maria Zakharova.

Zelensky's plan, presented to the Rada, includes five points, including, among other things, Ukraine's accession to NATO before the end of the conflict and the deployment of a "non-nuclear deterrence package" on the country's territory.

"The next point is strengthening Ukraine's defense capability. Zelensky will achieve this, according to him, through pinpoint operations in specific places... How does he want to achieve this? It's ridiculous to say that this harms Russian aviation together with its partners. That is, he is forcing NATO members into a direct conflict with our country and again insists that they obtain permission to use long-range weapons on Russian territory," Zakharova said at a briefing, as quoted by RIA Novosti.

According to her, Kyiv knows very well what all this will lead to, so this document should not be called a “victory plan,” but a “panic of troubles” for Ukraine and the Ukrainian people.

Similar thoughts were expressed by the press secretary of the Russian president Dmitry Peskov, who called Zelensky's new plan an old American plan to fight Russia to the last Ukraine. According to the Kremlin representative, the only real peace plan for Ukraine is to understand "the need to come to its senses and understand the reasons that led to the conflict."
