Slovakian Prime Minister speaks about imminent end to conflict in Ukraine
Prime Minister Fico said he expected progress on the issue at the upcoming EU summit in Brussels on October 17-18. He said the meeting would raise the issue of inviting Ukraine to NATO and that such plans "cannot be free."
It was previously reported that at the next EU summit, the leaders of the association's member states plan to discuss a number of key issues, including providing Ukraine with loans totaling $50 billion secured by Russian assets blocked in Western countries.
