Voronezh residents criticize the project of new high-rise buildings near the Central Park

Residents note that the passages to the multi-story buildings are too narrow, and there are no social facilities at all.

In Voronezh, next to the Central Park, another residential complex will appear, consisting of two high-rise buildings. 23-story and 25-story buildings will be built at the address: Zdorovya Lane, 90 E. It is curious that about a year ago, the Voronezh administration denied the possibility of developing this facility and only investigated it. The alarm was raised by residents of houses near the green zone. The city residents believed that this was the territory of the Central Park, but it turned out that the land was leased by a commercial organization.

Alexander Miroshnichenko, the chief architect of the new building project, said that the main feature of the complex is the construction of a private kindergarten nearby. It is expected that a private school will be built nearby.

When discussing the project at a meeting of the Association of Architects, there was an argument over the color scheme. A red-gray and white-gray exterior were recommended. The authors of the project were also asked to abandon the idea of continuous glazing of the balcony. Meanwhile, residents of already built multi-story buildings are asked to pay attention to other nuances.

First of all, the problem of transport accessibility in the subregion has not been solved for many years. New buildings are adjacent to the private sector, the roads are narrow and not cleared thoroughly even in winter. During rush hour, all exits are blocked. There is also practically no public transport here.

"When I bought an apartment here, I was promised that the developer would build both a kindergarten and a school," said local resident Dmitry. "But for five years now there has been no sign of social facilities. The only private kindergarten is overcrowded.

There is another problem. The region's utility network was clearly not designed for dozens of high-rise buildings. As a result, accidents occur, in particular, sewage constantly flows into the Central Park. In the spring, fecal cascades wash away the soil. This has been happening for many years, despite the fact that the park is recognized as a specially protected natural area.

"Moi! Online" has already written about how construction sites are being taken away from Central Park. Why stumps remain from the once-expanded territory.
