Oranges and laxatives have become more expensive in Novosibirsk
Novosibirsk Start published price data for September 2024.
The regional consumer price index recorded 100.4%. The biggest increase was in prices for oranges. Prices increased by 17.1%, reaching 186.37 rubles per kilogram.
Experts expect further price increases for citrus fruits before the Lunar New Year due to logistics and fluctuations in the ruble exchange rate. Other notable price increases include red caviar (+13.5%), fresh tomatoes (+9.5%) and butter (+8.1%).
Among the services, the most expensive were trips to the UAE (+17.1%) and Southeast Asia (+12.9%).
