The websites of the Russian Ministry of Internal Affairs and the State Traffic Safety Inspectorate were unavailable to users for several hours.
On Tuesday evening, October 15, the websites of the Ministry of Internal Affairs, headquarters and the State Traffic Safety Inspectorate of Russia were inaccessible. This was reported by a Lenta.ru correspondent.
The official website of the department and its services are unavailable. The page does not load in my browser. Connecting via a VPN service does not give any results.
According to the Bazaar Telegram channel, which was the first to report the outage, the Ministry of Internal Affairs website was unavailable for about eight hours.
Previously, there were problems with broadcasting the VGTRK online service. Broadcasts of the Rossiya 1 and Rossiya 24 TV channels, as well as radio stations that are part of the holdings, were not available on the site. Later, the VGTRK press service commented on this incident, calling it an unprecedented hacker attack.
