Sobyanin summed up the results of the Golden Autumn festival
Moscow Mayor Sergei Sobyanin summed up the results of the Golden Autumn festival, which took place from October 4 to 13. About 30 venues were opened for residents and guests of the capital, the festival covered more than 150 city spaces.
One of the largest venues, according to the mayor, was the Moskino cinema park. 38 farmers from 20 regions presented their products there. In total, festival guests purchased more than 190 tons of agricultural products from all over Russia. The most popular were cheese, honey, smoked fish, dried meat, pickles, jam, berries and dried mushrooms. More than 100,000 hot dishes were sold.
Sergei Sobyanin: "In addition to the gastronomic program, visitors had access to concerts, exhibitions, competitions and other events. Participants cooked food in ovens, decorated clay tablets with paintings and wove baskets. Children watched theatrical performances based on Russian fairy tales and cartoons."
The festival's partners were also city restaurants, 20 of which became the basis of the gastronomic route in Kamergersky Lane. Guests were treated to pumpkin salad with cream cheese, turkey liver with caramel apples, vegetable soup, boiled pumpkin with honey and other seasonal dishes.
