Sberbank explained which words and phrases give away fraudsters

Russians can easily recognize individual criminals who try to contact them by phone or letter.

Sberbank warned all citizens about this, DEITA.RU reports.

As the organization's experts note, recently fraudsters have increasingly used terms such as "FSB", "MVD", "Central Bank" in conversations with potential victims, writes the portal Banki.ru.

Experts explain that fraudsters also often use phrases such as “protected account,” “code received via SMS,” and “passport/SNILS/bank card details.”

If the person on the other end of the line said these phrases or words, Sberbank recommended that the Russian end the conversation. The probability of interacting with a fraudster is almost 100%.
