The first batch of recruits was sent from Syzran to military service

In Syzran, the first dispatch of conscripts for compulsory military service took place on Tuesday, October 15, in the local prayer house. In total, during the autumn draft, the Samara Region plans to send about 1,500 people to the Russian Armed Forces. This is 2,000 fewer than during the spring draft.

During the first deployment, 30 conscripts joined the army. According to the military commissar of the Samara region, Alexey Vdovin, all of them will undergo courses for young fighters and acquire a specialty directly in the troops of the Samara territorial guard.

As for further deployment, the majority of conscripts from the Samara region will serve in the armed forces of the Central Military District.

- With the exception of areas where special combat operations are being conducted, these people will be sent to all regions of the Russian Federation by rail and road transport, and also partially by air transport. The military commissar told KTV-LUCH that most of the personnel will be transferred to training units and military units, including the Presidential Regiment, Border Troops and the National Guard.

The 2024 fall draft officially runs through December 31, but could end early.

Earlier, KTV-LUCH reported that during the autumn conscription period, the regional military registration and enlistment office plans to mobilize about 130 people from the Syzran, Oktyabrsky, Syzran and Shigonsky districts. This year, the term of conscription has remained the same - 12 months. Three men are going to Syzran to serve in the Presidential Regiment.
