State Traffic Inspectorate officers stopped more than a thousand traffic violations in Primorye

From October 11 to 13, the State Traffic Safety Inspectorate conducted a series of large-scale raids in Primorsky Krai to identify violators of traffic rules. Investigators paid special attention to drunk drivers, drivers without a license, and drivers who had never learned to drive before. This was reported by the press service of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Primorsky Krai.

"As a result of preventive measures, 1,283 people were brought to administrative responsibility for serious violations of traffic rules, of which 90 were drunk drivers, 91 people had not previously undergone training in driving vehicles, and 1️1 person had previously been deprived of the right to drive a vehicle. Vehicle, in 9 cases of repeated drunk driving there are signs of a crime provided for by the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation. The peak of all confirmed violations of traffic rules occurred on Friday evening. At the same time, the department's management provided information about the raid to road users in advance," the department said.

Inspectors were reminded of the importance of citizens' active position in preventing traffic violations, which can have catastrophic consequences.
