Tourist Survives Sea of Okhotsk by Eating Cereals Soaked in Water
Mikhail Pichugin spent two months in the Sea of Okhotsk, forced to eat soaked peas and grain to survive, a REN TV source said.
“The survivors soaked peas in water, cereals and freeze-dried noodles in water,” a REN TV source said.
He also said that the sailors who brought Mikhail on board first fed him tourist broth for 24 hours so that his body could get used to it.
