Detached and barely speaks: Survivor of two months adrift in the Sea of Okhotsk needs a psychologist

Mikhail Pichugin, who drifted for two months in the Sea of Okhotsk on a stationary catamaran, needs help from psychologists. According to SHOT, the man who miraculously survived spoke little and behaved distantly.

Mikhail, who was picked up by the Angel Supertraw fishermen, was fed and changed several times. Now the exhausted man is sleeping. In Magadan, he will be met by rescuers and psychologists. The survivors are not talking. Perhaps his psychological state was disturbed.

Let me remind you that two brothers and the 15-year-old son of one of them set off on the catamaran "Baikat" on August 9. They left Cape Perovsky, located in the Nikolaevsky District of Khabarovsk Krai, to go to Sakhalin, but their boat stalled and contact with them was lost. The search lasted more than a month, but led to nothing. The boat was discovered by fishermen near the village of Ust-Khairuzovo in Kamchatka, almost a thousand kilometers from the original destination. The man is being taken to Magadan in serious condition.
