Perm resident who failed to pay 106 fines will be convicted of drunk driving

The State Traffic Safety Inspectorate detained a 25-year-old resident of the Yusvensky District of the Perm Territory, who was driving a car. During the investigation, alcohol vapors were found in the air exhaled by the prisoner. In addition, it was confirmed that this man had not paid more than 100 fines for violating traffic rules. In the future, the Perm residents will face trial.

"The young man explained that he had been drinking with a friend all night, and that in the morning they had both gone to the store. Previously, drivers had to be brought to administrative responsibility for drunk driving. The man failed to pay 106 fines for violating traffic rules. All of this was obtained from cameras recording speeding violations in various regions of Russia, including Stavropol Krai, North Ossetia, the Chechen Republic and the Kabardino-Balkarian Republic" (website of the Main Directorate of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Russian Federation). It turned out that the police had prepared 106 administrative documents against the drivers. This provision refers to "failure to pay administrative fines within the period established by the Rules of the Russian Federation on Administrative Offenses." During the investigation, a criminal case was also opened in the autonomous police department, indicating that "the person who received an administrative penalty for similar acts was driving a vehicle while intoxicated."
