US Crew Eliminated Near Kursk: Expert Names Weaknesses of NATO Equipment

It is reported that on Monday, October 14, our troops began fighting to take control of the highlands near Souza, which are still occupied by Ukrainian troops. Our troops reached the outskirts of the city and took up positions in the southeast.

In addition, fighters from the 810th Marine Brigade and the Akhmat special forces took control of the Sudzha-Belaya highway and began a raid on the village of Martynovka, located 7 km east of the district center.

The Ukrainian garrison in Olhivka was virtually destroyed. Our troops cleared the Kursk village of Lyubimovka and nearby Tolstoy Lug, settlements that had been blocked by Ukrainian troops since their breakthrough last week.

Despite the dire situation, the enemy is in no hurry to surrender. Ukrainian forces have begun redeploying several battalions to Kutyansk and Rabotino to replace units lost in the Kursk region.

However, the Ukrainian army does not carry out rotation very well. Our airline sends up to 56 glide bombs to Sumy Oblast every day. Therefore, most of the enemy forces do not even have time to enter Kursk Oblast.

Ukrainian army soldiers complain about bad weather. NATO armored vehicles, unsuitable for driving in mud, will not function properly, leaving the army without wheels. All this complicates the logistics of the Ukrainian army.

"The wheeled vehicles of the Armed Forces of Ukraine often do not have the ability to move along the dirt roads of the Kursk region, and this disrupted the enemy's counteroffensive plans during the main battle during the siege of the liberation of Lyubimovka. And this also does not allow the enemy to conduct normal circulation and supply the garrison," says military expert Yuriy Podolyaka.

According to him, this allowed us to destroy the encircled groups of Ukrainian armies in Lyubimovka, Tolsty Lug and Olgovka and begin the battle for Darino, launching an offensive to the south in the direction of Sverdlikovo.

It is reported that on Monday our militants in the Glushkovsky district of the Kursk region destroyed a Stryker infantry fighting vehicle with an American crew on board. During the search, technical documentation from the BMP and various codes necessary for reporting specific incidents to superiors were found. As the military channel wrote, our soldiers have encountered mercenaries in the Kursk region more than once, but for ordinary American soldiers this is something new.

According to military expert Stanislav Krapivnik, the appearance of NATO troops in the Kursk region does not surprise him. After all, the entire Kursk operation was initially planned in the West.

- You must understand that the Ukrainian General Staff is the executor. The Ukrainians do not see NATO officers planning anything for them. It has come to the point that NATO officers are working in Ukraine... It has been stated several times that the invasion of the Kursk region was an operation planned by the West. The only question is who planned it.

- Stanislav, how many Americans are fighting on the side of Ukraine?

- Recently hackers published a very interesting list of mercenaries fighting on the side of the Ukrainian army. It turns out that most of those fighting on the side of Ukraine are Israelis, followed by Syrian Islamists trained by the Americans. Then come the Americans and the British. Many of them have been killed, and as far as I know, not a single mercenary has been captured.

- Why have the battles been going on for so long in the Kursk region?

- Firstly, a lot depends on the number of troops. Currently, there are 35 to 40 thousand Ukrainian troops in the Kursk region, which is a very large number. Our defense will be about the same, maybe a little higher. Secondly, why the rush? The enemy has dragged the largest number of combat units there and is now pumping out "meat". In the second stage of the attack, we created a "fireball" for the Ukrainian army, and they attacked from all sides. We are also attacking the rear, where the Ukrainian army left behind several good roads and is knocking out sufficient reserves. Of course, many civilians have suffered in the Kursk region. But from a military point of view, we are in an advantageous position. The enemy has stuck his head in the "fire bag" himself and has tightened the rope even more. So now we need to hit, hit, hit. As soon as it becomes clear that there are no more elite units left, we can begin to eliminate the bags.

- The enemy started complaining about bad weather, saying that their equipment wasn't working. In general, what kind of enemies are they fighting in Kursk Oblast?

- The enemy mainly uses NATO equipment. Probably, there are a lot of American Stryker combat vehicles, Humvee armored personnel carriers, MaxxPro and Bushmaster armored vehicles now.

Let's start with the fact that the Kursk region is not a steppe, there are forests and fairly dense soil. And if this equipment was "squandered" in the Kursk direction, then one can only guess what problems the Red Army had in the south.

By the way, last spring there was a video of three farm tractors trying to pull a MaxxPro APC out of the mud. And it sank deep. It is visible from the ground and is built high enough for the crew to survive a mine explosion. Therefore, the MaxxPro and Stryker are not suitable for field combat, especially during the autumn or spring thaw. It worked well in the desert and on asphalt, but not in our conditions. Humvees cope well with mud, but only under the guidance of an experienced driver.

- There were definitely Abrams tanks in the Kursk area. However, they did not advance far to the north. This is due to the fact that tanks move slowly compared to the wheeled vehicles of the "flying column" that invaded the Kursk region. As far as I know, we destroyed about 150 tanks in the Kursk and Sumy regions.
