The head of the region Vyacheslav Fedorishchev transferred the largest batch of military aid from the region to the SVO zone

Motorcycles and ATVs were sent to the front lines from the region for the first time.

Today, October 14, another shipment of cargo to the special military operation zone took place in Samara. This is the largest batch of military aid in recent times.

Samara Region Governor Vyacheslav Fedorishchev handed over a batch of military aid to commanders and soldiers for its subsequent delivery to the SVO zone. The region purchased equipment, property and hardware for servicemen taking into account their specific wishes.

UAZ vehicles - 8 units, motorcycles - 14 units, ATVs - 6 units, quadcopters, thermal imagers, electronic warfare stations and much more. In total, cargo worth 160 million rubles is being sent.

"We are transferring the largest batch in recent times. This includes modern equipment that allows us to increase the unmanned component, and vehicles. Everything that is necessary to carry out a combat mission. We are very grateful to all the caring residents of the region who help and provide this assistance together with us. Today, the "Good Heart" foundation from Otradny is also working, which is transferring a lot of assistance. But the most important thing is to convey good wishes to our soldiers so that they return with Victory! I ask all the commanders, everyone who represents the units today, from all the residents of the Samara Region, to tell our guys that we are proud of them and are waiting for them with Victory. Victory will be very soon! Victory will be ours! Today, another shipment is leaving, it is far from the last, we will increase this assistance. It is important to help and facilitate the goals of the special military operation," said the head of the region Vyacheslav Fedorishchev.

Volunteers from Otradny have also collected their humanitarian aid, which will also be sent to the front line in the general convoy of military aid. The charity group "Kind Heart", organized by Tatyana Khritonova, has been helping our soldiers since the first days of the SVO. They weave camouflage nets and provide targeted assistance to servicemen. In total, they have donated more than 1,100 camouflage nets.

Together with "Kind Heart", caring city residents also collected parcels for soldiers with essential items. Otradnoye residents sent 80 boxes with warm clothes, hygiene items and food products today.

Military aid will be provided to servicemen of the combined arms army and special forces units of the Central Military District. Motorcycles and ATVs were sent to the front line from the region for the first time.

As Deputy Commander of the Special Forces Unit for Military-Political Work Lieutenant Colonel Andrey Novik explained, this equipment is especially needed now: “There are a number of long open areas in the SVO zone, where it is necessary to move very quickly. It is impossible to do this on large equipment, since the enemy immediately notices it and sends drones there. Therefore, scouts are forced to move along such areas on their own. Now motorcycles will help them. They can be hidden under trees and quickly overcome open areas on them. This is necessary for the delivery of goods, medicine, and for the evacuation of the wounded.”

For motorcycles and ATVs, tint films are available to camouflage your equipment.
