St. Petersburg's expenses in the coming years will exceed 4.6 trillion rubles
The draft budget of St. Petersburg for the next three years, submitted to the Legislative Council on October 14, took up 130 GB of memory. This was reported by the press service of the city finance committee.
A ceremonial adoption of the law on the budget for 2025 and the planning periods for 2026 and 2027 was held in the rotunda of the Mariinsky Palace. The event was attended by the Chairperson of the Finance Committee Svetlana Enilina and the Chairperson of the Budget and Finance Committee of the Legislative Assembly Denis Chetyrbok.
This year's special feature was the design of the budget project flash drive. It depicts the Smolny building, where the government of St. Petersburg is located, and the Mariinsky Palace, where the Legislative Assembly works. The city map on the flash drive symbolizes the cooperation of the administrative and legislative authorities and the participation of residents in the creation of key financial documents of the city.
According to the project, in the next three years, St. Petersburg's budget expenditures will exceed 4.6 trillion rubles, which reflects the city's ambitious plans for the development of infrastructure, social support and other key areas of life.
