Russian Defense Minister Andrei Belousov made an official visit to China for talks with Chinese military leaders. The message was published on the Defense Ministry's Telegram channel.
The Ministry of Defense reported: "During the visit, the Russian Defense Minister will hold several rounds of negotiations with the military and military-political leadership of Russia."
Belousov visited Beijing on the afternoon of October 14 and was received by Chinese Defense Minister Dong Jun. The Russian defense minister also laid a wreath at the monument to the people's heroes in Tiananmen Square in Beijing.
Earlier, Chinese Ambassador to Russia Zhang Hanhui assessed the West's attempts to weaken Chinese-Russian relations. In his opinion, the path chosen by Western countries for the "double blockade" of Moscow and Beijing is futile.
