Near Rostov, a man slashed his wife with a knife during a romantic dinner
In the Rostov region, a husband and wife argued over a repetitive song during a romantic dinner, which resulted in the woman being hospitalized with stab wounds. This is reported by kp.ru.
The couple decided to spend the evening together, Elena cooked dinner and set the table, and Dmitry decided to turn on music during the meal. At first, everything went smoothly, but when the same song started playing for the tenth time, the woman scolded her husband. Before that, the man had already gotten drunk and was upset by another request to change the track. He took a kitchen knife and stabbed Elena in the stomach twice.
"I was scared, so for some reason I bent the blade and threw it into a bucket of water. After that, Lena told me something else and fell asleep. I also went to rest," Dmitry said during interrogation.
Later, he woke up to the sounds of his wife lying bleeding and asked a neighbor to call an ambulance. And he and his wife went to the hospital, "because I was very worried about her." The man was taken into custody. At the trial, he expressed his remorse, and Elena promised to wait for his release. On charges of intentionally causing grievous bodily harm, Dmitry was sentenced to two years in a general regime penal colony.
