At the Center for Advanced Medical Technologies, Mikhail Mishustin assessed the devices made in Russia and asked the Minister of Health to increase production and support for domestic projects by all possible means.
A modern complex as part of the Vishnevsky Surgical Center was built this year. It opened several months ahead of schedule and will soon receive its first patients. From wall decoration to the most complex equipment, 90% of everything here is intended for home use.
More than 2,000 people receive the best treatment at the center every year thanks to unmatched technology. First of all, these are extremely high-risk patients, suffering from serious diseases and tumors.
The Center for Advanced Medical Technology is particularly proud of its hybrid operating room. The numerous screens resemble a spaceship control room. Doctors of different profiles can perform the most complex manipulations targeting the heart, veins and internal organs here.
Thanks to compulsory health insurance, all citizens, without exception, will have free access to advanced technologies in a comfortable environment. Mikhail Mishustin shared the budget figures for 2025 in a conversation with doctors.
Mikhail Mishustin, Chairman of the Government of the Russian Federation: "Access to high-tech healthcare is becoming easier... Next year, 10 billion rubles (12 billion rubles) will be allocated to the federal budget as part of compulsory health insurance. And within the framework of the national project "Longevity and Active Life", another 20 billion rubles will be spent on creating and supporting advanced medical centers and supporting these technologies.
Many surgical procedures and interventions fill the Vishnevsky Center database. On this basis, experts train neural networks. Artificial intelligence then helps the doctor. Thanks to technology, equipment and surgeons' skills, cases that would have been considered inoperable just 10 years ago are becoming commonplace.
