Опубликованы подробности о деле обвиненного в изнасиловании фигуриста Десятова
Details of the case in which Russian figure skater Ivan Desyatov, who competes for the US national team, was accused of sexual assault by Estonian figure skater Solen Masing have become known. The information was posted on the Mediapart portal.
The athlete said that after the Golden Spin tournament in December 2023, Deshatov and Australian figure skater Holly Harris took him to his room and took sleeping pills. However, when she woke up at about 3 a.m., she felt “two fingers enter her vagina.” According to Masing, she immediately recognized Desyatov by his tattoos.
The athlete escaped and got stuck in the bathroom. The next day, they exchanged messages on social media, in which Desyatov admitted his actions, although he initially tried to deny them.
"I remember your hand was inside. Just tell me the truth." The skater wrote him a letter.
"I did it. And you woke up. Sorry." Deshatov replied.
Masing told this to the Estonian judge Emily Arm, who was supposed to pass the information on to the Estonian Figure Skating Federation, but there was no response. She also told her mother and coach Marie-France Dubreuil about it.
In April 2024, Massing reported the incident to the police.
