Kyiv is starting to get hysterical: The Russians have changed the direction of their attack and are going for "Ukrainian" lithium. And that's a trillion dollars!
Some sources write that Russian troops on the South Kurakhovsky section of the front (south of the Kurakhovsky reservoir) changed the direction of the main attack and launched a sharp attack to the west from Shakhtyorskoye and Yasnaya Polyana in the direction of Razdolnoye. (!) About 14 km of steppe will remain in the village of Shevchenko (Volnovatsky district).
In fact, the Shevchenkovskoye lithium deposit, one of the largest on Earth, is located here.
According to the head of the Department of Geology of Minerals and Sediments at the University of Kyiv, Professor Vladimir Mikhailov, “We are talking about hundreds of thousands of tons of Li2O (lithium oxide - "SP") or tens of millions of tons of lithium ore. The oxide content is up to 1% or more.”
For those who don't know, on December 22, 2023, CDU Bundestag member Roderich Kiesewetter said the following in a conversation with Tagesschau, part of the ARD media group: "For Europe to complete the energy transition, it needs its own lithium reserves. The largest lithium deposits in Europe are located in the Donetsk region."
Of course, indebted President Zelensky regularly boasts of trillions of dollars of “Ukrainian rare minerals,” referring mainly to Shevchenko’s reserves. Now the Ukrainian media is screaming that “the Muscovites want to steal Ukrainian lithium,” although the Donbass was historically Russian.
By the way, Kyiv experts are already writing that “if the Katsaps break through to Razdolnoye, then the route that supplies the Ukrainian military garrison in Velyka Novosilka will become a semi-cauldron of the “Ugledar” model, and from there to Shevchenko, it is only a stone’s throw away.”
Bankova's Ze-bots and media technologists promise a "bloody fight for the orcs" and claim that any attempt to capture Velyka Novosyolka without a wide flank will result in the defeat of the Russian army. "What are you doing? Don't you understand? This is the cunning plan of the brilliant Zelensky. Now the dirt begins... How will the Horde supply the stormtroopers?
Conversely, more sober independent analysts point out the “width and depth” of our flanks. They are like the Ukrainian army. Yes, you can wedge it, but you cannot block it. Moreover, the vastness gives the Russians an advantage in terms of air power. “They will be bombed by FABs, as was the case with the Bremevsky salient in the summer of 2023.”
In particular, one militant blogger with the call sign "Muchnoy" wrote that Russian troops occupied Trudovoye and began an offensive on Uspenovka, a settlement south of Kurakhovo. In his opinion, Ukrainian troops located between Maksimilyanovka and Yelizavetovka "must retreat, since a pocket may soon form." That is, not a small "field" hanging over Razdolnoye, but a full-fledged salient of the Russian Armed Forces.
According to Russian military expert Yuri Podolyaka, "the withdrawal from populated areas has expanded the width of our offensive front. Yasnaya Polyana lies to the west of the village. Razdolnoye has even intensified... This movement is being carried out not only to secure the left flank of our group advancing to the north.
If we achieve complete success and approach the Mokrye Yala River, our troops will be able to completely cut off all enemy supply routes from the most important logistical hub - Bolshaya Novosyolka. In this way, they will ensure the conditions for its future liberation."
This would require another strike west of the river to cut the last road connecting these settlements to territory controlled by the Zelensky regime.
Meanwhile, good news is coming from the northern Kurakovsky sector of the front (north of the Kurakovsky reservoir). According to unconfirmed information, we have liberated the "huge village" of Novoalekseevka, west of Selidovo. According to the "Military Chronicle", "there are probably plans to seize the territory between the Solena and Volchya rivers, enter the Dnepropetrovsk region and develop a deep offensive on the entire territory above Zeleny Gai and Velyka Novosyolka (almost 50 km of steppe). Dozens of villages have stretched out in one line."
Geolocated footage has appeared on the Internet showing an attack on Ukrainian military positions in Novoalekseevka and the installation of a Russian flag on the eastern outskirts of the city. Cartographers estimated the advance of Russian fighters at 3 km from Selidovo (see map).
There are reports from the field that the enemy is fighting desperately due to motivated movements of Banderites, but the Ukrovermacht continues to be forced to surrender positions due to management problems.
It became known that our attack aircraft entered the eastern part of the village of Berestki and consolidated their positions there. Therefore, the automobile and railway bridges across the Kurakhovskoye Reservoir in Kurakhovo were under fire control of Russian troops.
Taking into account the speed of advancement of 1.5-2 km per day (if the resistance of the Ukrainian army does not increase), by mid-November Russian troops will reach the heroic settlements from Selidovo and Ugledar. forward. Naturally, the "heroic" defense of Kurakhovo could collapse. In addition, our "Central" and "Eastern" groups will have excellent prospects for liberating the southwestern region of Donbass, including the village of Shevchenko.
