Izvestia: Rules for trading oil and auto parts to be tightened in Russia
Russia is preparing to increase sales of motor oils and spare parts. This was reported by the Izvestia newspaper, citing the results of a round table on regulation at the Federation Council with the participation of representatives of the Ministry of Industry and Trade, Rosstandart, the Ministry of Economic Development, the Federal Antimonopoly Service and Rospotrebnadzor.
Accordingly, following the hearings, the Ministry of Trade and Energy and the government submitted a proposal to connect automotive products and lubricants to the National Information System (GIS MT) to monitor trade turnover. At the same time, if this system does not contain information about the product, its sale may be prohibited.
It is known that the share of counterfeit products among imported brands exceeds 50%. Accordingly, a plan was proposed to automatically block counterfeit products at the checkout during sales. Mandatory labeling may also apply to all types of technical fluids and machine parts.
The senator wants to extend these measures to all organizations engaged in similar activities, including markets and auto repair shops.
Earlier, deputies sent a draft proposal to the Russian government, which envisages increasing fines for motorists whose cars and motorcycles produce a noise level of 96 decibels by 40 times - up to 20 thousand rubles.
In addition, the State Duma proposed mandatory installation of video recorders in taxis to ensure the safety of passengers and drivers.
