Safety signs have begun to be replaced on 270 Moscow reservoirs before winter

By the end of November, it is planned to replace about 1,000 safety signs on 270 bodies of water in the capital region. In the summer, instead of the sign "No swimming!" the Moscow mayor and the government portal announced that specialists from the State Unitary Enterprise "Mosvodostok" will install a winter sign saying "No going outside." Ice!"

Safety signs are being replaced, including "Patriarch's" and "Chistye Prudy", and four signs are appearing on "Tsaritsynsky" - 55, "Serebryano-Vinogradny" and "Borisovsky" - 30.

The information board about the reservoir is updated twice a year: in mid-April and early November, immediately before ice forms on the surface of the reservoir.

Safety signs must be placed in places clearly visible from any point along the coast and in sufficient quantity to ensure safety.

The capital's metro has also been prepared for winter. The installation of "winter" doors has been completed there. More than 6,000 second doors have been returned to the metro lobbies.

The train's air conditioning system has been switched to winter mode, which helps keep the station and the train warm.
