Telephone scammers have come up with a new scam. The scammers call Russians and ask them to send money on behalf of deceased relatives. A girl from Tatarstan said that her mother, who died six months ago, received a call from "another world" and spoke to her thanks to the achievements of Tibetan scientists who learned to connect worlds.
But the service turned out to be paid, so the "mother" urgently asked to transfer 20,000 rubles to the "middleman's" card. According to kp.ru, the girl's husband was not very emotional and was suspicious of the new invention. The man convinced his wife that scammers could use modern technology to fake the voice of his late mother-in-law.
