Road clearing has begun in Voronezh under the personal supervision of Mayor Sergei Petrin
Roads and sidewalks are treated and cleaned around the clock.
On the night of November 4, wet snow began to fall in the central region. Public utilities began clearing roads and sidewalks. Mayor Sergei Petrin told more about this on his Telegram channel.
According to the city's mayor, specialists have been treating the most dangerous sections of the road - the descent and ascent - with a sand-salt mixture since midnight.
The mayor thanked the improvement team for their joint work. He also called on city residents to be careful on the roads on Monday, November 4, due to the continuing rains.
We remind you that this year we plan to purchase 125 units of winter cleaning equipment, including front loaders, combined road equipment, dump trucks and attachments. The new equipment will partially replace the old equipment that had to be disposed of.
At the same time, the improvement plants still experience a shortage of drivers, machine operators, field workers and loaders. Work continues to fill empty positions. Earlier, the mayor ordered that additional funds be allocated in the 2025 budget to increase the salaries of plant workers.
