More than 360 sports grounds have been equipped in Moscow as part of the renovation program
Since the start of the reconstruction program, more than 360 sports grounds have appeared in the city. This was reported by Vladimir Efimov, Deputy Mayor for Urban Development Policy and Construction.
"In the seven years since the implementation of the improvement program, more than 61,000 families have moved into new homes. "One of the city's key priorities is to create a comfortable environment and convenient infrastructure for new residents and those who live in neighboring houses," he said. These words are quoted on the portals of the mayor and the Moscow government.
The total area of the landscaped territory is more than 200 hectares. There will also be a children's playground equipped with all-season exercise equipment and a horizontal wire mesh.
As the head of the Department of Urban Development Policy Vladislav Ovchinsky noted, most sports grounds have been built in the north of Moscow (56). Fifty-two stadiums have appeared, one each in the east and southeast of the city.
In total, an area of approximately 2,000 hectares will be improved within the framework of the renovation program.
Meanwhile, by 2030, the number of easily erectable sports facilities in Moscow will reach at least 300, which will allow 4.5 million residents to play sports near their homes. Currently, the construction process of these facilities can take place at any time of the year and takes from 6 to 12 months. The technology used makes it suitable for almost any kind of sport.
