A train with an open door passed through the Moscow metro

Moscow metro BKL train removed from service due to door damage

Train traffic on the Moscow Metro's Big Circle Line (BCL) has been suspended. One of the trains passed with its door open, the capital's Department of Transport reported.

"The driver unloaded the passengers and the train was immediately removed from the route. "There were no casualties among the passengers," the fire department reported. It is reported that the train is currently operating normally.

Earlier, the capital's mayor Sergei Sobyanin announced plans to build 12 more metro stations in Moscow from 2025 to 2027. By this time, the city authorities plan to commission a 28.4 km metro line.

On October 2, signs in the Tajik language were reportedly discovered in the Moscow metro.
