Participant of military actions in Ukraine shot in Moscow region
A participant in the Ukrainian military operation was shot in the Moscow region. 44-year-old Nikita Klenkov died, RBC reports, citing sources in law enforcement agencies.
According to TASS, the deceased was the deputy commander of a military unit. "The man returned home a week ago," a police spokesman said.
"According to the preliminary version, this murder was planned and contracted," the agency's source said. He also mentioned that they were waiting for the soldier's car and were possibly monitoring his movements. The source did not provide any other details.
The Moscow Regional Department of the Investigative Committee reported that a criminal case was opened after the murder of a man in the Solnechnogorsk urban district. According to the police department, the crime occurred today in the village of Melenki. An unknown person fired at least three shots from a car into the driver's window of another car, which was driven by a local resident. As a result, the man died on the spot.
