The State Duma has proposed a complete ban on advertising non-alcoholic beer in the media
Khamzaev stated: "This advertising accompanies sporting events. All of this is hidden advertising of alcohol. I am for a complete ban on alcohol advertising in the media."
He also proposed toughening penalties for violating alcohol advertising laws. According to the agent, special attention should be paid to advertising showing non-alcoholic beer brands containing the eponymous alcoholic product.
The legislator plans to refer the issue to the FAS and Rosalkogoltobakkontrol.
Earlier, Khamzaev proposed suspending the activities of retail outlets if they sell alcohol without a license even once.
In his opinion, entrepreneurs must understand the severity of the law and the inevitability of punishment. They also need to feel the real consequences of breaking the law.
