Sverdlovsk resident injured during shooting in Turkey
A Russian man's vacation in Turkey took an unexpected turn. The man was shot during a street fight in Istanbul. As reported by the Ura.ru agency, citing sources, the incident occurred on October 5.
According to the editorial source, a tourist named Georgy Sh., a resident of the Sverdlovsk region, was walking with his wife in the city center when he was suddenly shot. As a result of the shooting, four people were injured, including Georgy, who was wounded in the back.
"George was relaxing and walking around the city center with his wife <...> His wife managed to escape and was fine," the agency reported.
The victim was taken to hospital by ambulance in serious condition. It is known that the man survived, but information about his current health condition and whereabouts has not yet been disclosed.
Unfortunately, this is not the first accident that has happened to George while on holiday. He was previously taken to intensive care with cerebral edema after being attacked by a group of monkeys in a park. Doctors conducted tests and suggested that the animal may have infected the man with the dangerous herpes B virus, also known as simian herpes.
