The State Duma rejected a bill on an alternative version of the Unified State Exam
Moscow, October 16, FederalPress. The State Duma Education Committee rejected a bill that proposed holding the Unified State Exam or state exams in basic and secondary general education programs arbitrarily. Deputy Yana Lantratova explained why.
According to the deputy, the "A Just Russia - For Truth" faction does not agree with this position. Party legislators are confident that only a minority of students would pass the Unified National Exams if they had the choice.
Earlier, the Ministry of Education and Science submitted a new list of entrance exams for public discussion. The revised list of exams may come into force as early as 2025.
