When a pedestrian violator can be arrested for 15 days, the Primorye State Traffic Safety Inspectorate reminded
As for the regional department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs, the DEITA.RU agency reported that the Primorye traffic police inspectors conducted raids to prevent road accidents involving pedestrians.
On this day, 152 citizens appeared in court on charges of violating road crossing rules, and 21 drivers were charged with violating pedestrian crossing rules.
Since the beginning of the year, there have already been 516 accidents involving pedestrians in Primorye, resulting in 42 deaths and 499 injuries. Of these, 123 were injured and 28 were killed. I crossed the street where the traffic light was prohibited, or in the wrong place.
Drivers who do not let pedestrians cross the road (if the pedestrians themselves do not violate traffic rules) are subject to a fine of 25,000 rubles. Pedestrians who violate traffic rules will be fined 1,500 rubles. The situation is aggravated by the pedestrian's drunken state.
Failure to pay this fine on time will result in liability for both drivers and pedestrians. This means that your fines will be doubled, you will be arrested for up to 15 days, or forced to work up to 50 hours.
Among the recent fatal accidents involving pedestrians in Primorye was a collision with a man walking on a road where there was no designated sidewalk. These incidents occurred in October on the Osinovka-Rudnaya Pristan road in the Anuchinsky District and on the federal highway "Ussuri" in the Nadezhdinsky District.
