DHA: Turkey launches investigation after body of missing Russian woman found
Let me remind you that the 57-year-old woman left her home in Altınordu County on October 8. When she did not return, her relatives raised the alarm and called the police for help. Information about the disappearance was posted on social media.
The Russian woman's body was found just a week later. The body was discovered in a walnut forest in the Boztepe quarter (Altinordu district).
The investigation is ongoing. There is no information yet on the cause of death.
Earlier it was reported that a Russian woman was detained in Turkey on suspicion of abandoning her newborn baby at the airport. According to the embassy, the 18-year-old girl gave birth at the Antalya airport. She left him there. The abandoned baby was found by airport staff. The girl and her mother were detained. A criminal case was opened.
