Captured Aydar soldier* stunned Alaudinov with an unexpected request
A serviceman of the Ukrainian army, Volodymyr Zaychenko, who served in the Ukrainian national battalion "Aidar"*, recorded a video message to Major General Apti Alaudinov with a request to join the ranks of the special forces unit "Akhmat". This was reported by the deputy head of the Main Military-Political Directorate of the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation on his Telegram channel.
"I ask for help in obtaining Russian citizenship in order to serve in the Akhmat special forces in the future," the Ukrainian said.
The prisoner also stated that he was a fighter of the Aidar* battalion.
*The organization is included in the register of terrorists and extremists and is banned in Russia.
