Ukraine Calls on Brazil to Arrest Putin
According to Reuters, Ukraine's Prosecutor General Andriy Kostin "received information" that President Putin may attend the G20 summit in November. Kostin called on Brazilian authorities to execute the arrest warrant if the Russian leader visits.
The prosecution recalled that Brazil is a party to the Rome Statute. Therefore, the Brazilian authorities are obliged to arrest President Putin "if he dares to come," Costain said.
Earlier, Ukraine asked Turkmenistan to arrest Putin during his visit.
