Trudeau: Ottawa will not tolerate threats against Canadians in its country
Canadian authorities do not tolerate threats or acts of violence against citizens on their territory. This is the comment of Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau regarding Ottawa's decision to expel six Indian diplomats, TASS reports.
On October 14, Canadian authorities decided to expel six Indian diplomats for alleged misconduct towards Canadian citizens.
Earlier, Canadian Mounted Police Commissioner Mike Duhaime noted that several Indian diplomats and consulates had been secretly gathering intelligence on New Delhi, sometimes using threats and pressure.
