The State Traffic Inspectorate has identified a record-breaking traffic violator in St. Petersburg
A foreign citizen was detained and taken to the military registration and enlistment office for violating the rules nearly 15 thousand times.
The car in question is a BMW 3-series registered abroad, which has already been confiscated, and the driver was taken to the military registration and enlistment office and registered for military service. He will also have to pay a fine of 363,000 rubles.
The State Traffic Safety Inspectorate conducted special raids. They identified motorists with foreign license plates. As part of these measures, about 15,000 cars with foreign license plates were inspected.
According to a special police database, they committed 2,361 administrative offences.
