The number of trips on two bus routes in Dzerzhinsk has been reduced.
The number of bus routes 201 and 103 has been reduced due to a shortage of drivers in the Nizhny Novgorod region. This was reported by a representative of the transport company MUP Express.
The popular route 201, connecting Dzerzhinsk and the Sormovsky turn in Nizhny Novgorod, is expecting serious changes. Previously, buses ran hourly, making 13 trips a day. Now, only five buses leave Dzerzhinsk approximately every three hours. "Everyone is against the people," wrote one of the social network users. A similar situation occurred on bus #103. They run every day from Dzerzhinsk to the village of Nagulino. The Express municipality described the situation as an acute shortage of drivers. According to company representatives, no one could answer the phone. To solve this problem, the company is raising salaries and actively recruiting new employees. The airline promised to return to the previous schedule as soon as it recruits a sufficient number of drivers. In the meantime, passengers are invited to leave complaints and suggestions by calling the call center at 4222825, which is open daily from 6:00 to 22:00. Residents of Nizhny Novgorod told about the reasons for the bus problem. People do not agree with the theory that due to traffic jams, buses do not run properly. Soon, the press service of the Dzerzhinsk administration responded to the situation. In an article covering the current situation, a government representative wrote: "In response to numerous requests from citizens, changes to the schedule of suburban buses 103 and 201 intercity routes have been postponed indefinitely."
