Rosaviatsiya has suspended the operator's certificate of the Kamchatka airline Vityaz-Aero
The decision was made after 22 people were killed in a company helicopter crash.
The operating certificate of the airline "Vityaz-Aero" was suspended by the decision of the Federal Air Transport Agency a month and a half after the crash of the airline's helicopter in Kamchatka. This was reported by regional director Vladimir Solodov through his Telegram channel.
"The main task today is to ensure that all transport operations are carried out without interruptions. To this end, we are carrying out the relevant work, including interaction with the Kamchatka Aviation Enterprise," he added.
Solodov also stressed that the priority for local authorities is to understand the causes of the tragedy and improve flight safety. He also reported that in the near future several of the airline's aircraft will be leased to the Kamchatka Aviation Enterprise and used for air transportation in the region.
On August 31, a Vityaz-Aero helicopter with 22 people on board crashed in Kamchatka. All passengers and crew died.
