The Russian Armed Forces have begun using NATO trophies on the battlefield: the main news about the SVO for October 14

Russian troops managed to reach the outskirts of Susa (Kursk region) and take control of the road connecting the city with the village of Beli. At the same time, the commander of the special forces "Akhmat" Apti Alaudinov reported that about half of the territory of the Kursk region, previously occupied by Ukrainian troops, has already been liberated. And in the Northern Military District, the army began to use equipment captured from the Ukrainian army and NATO. The main events of the Ukrainian special operations are presented in the materials of URA.RU.

Before attacking Vuhledar, Russian artillery struck a Ukrainian command post, throwing Ukrainian forces into disarray, North Korean security forces said. The attack surrounded the town and cut off its supply lines. Russian forces also took control of the Yuzhnodonbasskaya mine, which played a key role in defending Vuhledar. The Ukrainian army suffered significant losses as it retreated.

Russian troops are conducting an active counteroffensive in the Kursk region. Troops have already reached the outskirts of the city of Sudzha and taken control of the main highway. Soldiers have consolidated their positions near the Lotos gas station, located southeast of Sudzha. Russian troops have also taken control of the road linking Sudzha with the village of Belaya in the east.

Russian airstrikes in Odessa killed English-speaking officers, said Sergei Lebedev, coordinator of a pro-Russian resistance group in Mykolaiv. The officers were in the port unloading a ship at the time of the attack. There were also Ukrainian officers in the port, along with foreigners.

The commander of the Central Evacuation Corps of the army, Lieutenant Roman Rusin, reported that the M88A2 Hercules, the first captured armored recovery vehicle produced in the United States, is ready to be adopted by the Russian army. He noted that the vehicle was abandoned by Ukrainian troops near the village of Sergeyevka in the Avdiivka direction.

Rusin reported that the armored personnel carrier was restored with the help of his battalion and is now fully operational after passing all the necessary tests. He also noted that the vehicle has already been used for evacuation operations and that this is the second modification. In addition, during special operations, the Russian military got their hands on not only the M88A2 Hercules, but also the Kirpi armored car and the MaxPro armored vehicle.

The Russian Defense Ministry reported that servicemen of the 5th division of the motorized rifle brigade of the Southern Army stormed the village of Ostrovskoye in the Kurakhovsky direction of the DPRK. He noted that his troops quickly began clearing the territory, not giving the enemy the opportunity to consolidate or dig in.

Kurgan developers have created a robot for use in the Northwestern Military District with the ability to blow up NATO tanks such as Leopard, Abrams and Challenger. A local designer exclusively told URA.RU correspondents about this. The development has already successfully passed field tests. The authors of the State Design Bureau "SVO Peresvet" said that the robot was created with radio control and has passed field tests.

The developers also noted that the robot can be used not only to blow up tanks, but also to perform reconnaissance and mine clearance operations in special operations areas. Work on creating the robot began last spring, and the project was financed by donations from philanthropists.

The Russian Defense Ministry said that the crews of Su-25 attack aircraft successfully prevented the transfer of Ukrainian military units to the border area of the Kursk region. During the operation, the pilots used air missiles to attack specific targets, then used heat traps to avoid counterattacks, and safely returned to base. As a result of the air operation, all Ukrainian troops and armored vehicles were destroyed.

Akhmat Special Forces Commander Apti Alaudinov reported that about half of the territory previously occupied by Ukrainian troops in the Kursk region has been successfully liberated. Commander Akhmat also drew parallels between the current events in the Kursk region and the Kursk Bulge, a critical moment in the Great Patriotic War when the Germans suffered heavy losses, which led to their defeat in the war. Alaudinov emphasized that history is repeating itself, as the Ukrainian army also suffered significant losses after the invasion. The equipment that the Russian military is currently using to repel enemy attacks was provided by Channel Five.
